Dr. Salah EL RAI currently serves as senior consultant radiologist and head of radiology department at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital Ministry of Presidential Affairs (SKGH-MOPA), Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

A graduate of the medical school at Sousse-Tunisia, Dr. Salah completed his radiology M.Sc. degree in 2006 at Tours College of medicine, France. He attained PhD degree in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology in 2008 at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI). He cleared post graduate university degree in Head and Neck imaging, Diagnostic and Interventional neurovascular imaging, fetal and perinatal imaging at Paris Descartes University (Paris V). He earned also a post graduate degree in breast and gynecologic imaging at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI), France. Dr. Salah is certified by the French council of Physician since 2009.

Dr. Salah has more than 13 years of clinical radiology experience in France and UAE. In addition, Dr. Salah has academic experience and served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Angers University – School of medicine, Adjunct faculty in health school at Lebanese university and Women HCT in Fujairah.

Dr. Salah is an active member of the European Society of radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), French Society of Radiology (SFR) and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).

He is also, a reviewer of the American journal of radiology and member of the RSNA regional committee of Middle East and Africa.

He has published over 60 international publications, papers and presentations at multiple conferences.

He has special interests in imaging quality assurance.
